April 2025 was a month filled with excitement, learning, and impactful action for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau! From in-depth internal discussions to skill-building classes, from collaborative competitions to meaningful commemorations—every activity brought new energy and purpose to our organization. We maintained a clean and well-equipped workspace through Clean Secretariat and Inventory, honed our administrative skills in Administration Class I, and built stronger teamwork through FUNCOM. Our proud participation in the 2025 National English Olympiad demonstrated our drive for excellence, while the celebration of Kartini Day reminded us of the power of women in leadership and education. Let’s look back at the key moments that made April a powerful chapter in our journey of growth and unity!

1. KAJIAN PENGURUS l 



The English Student Association (ESA) FKIP Universitas Riau held a Kajian Pengurus on Thursday at 04:00 P.M. - Finished at Room D6. As a space to reflect, learn, and strengthen the bonds among the board members. This activity aims to deepen the connection and solidarity within the management of ESA FKIP Riau.

Through this initiative, carried out by the Membership Development Division, ESA hopes to continue nurturing a healthy and united internal environment—one that is grounded in shared values and collective growth.

2. SEKRE BERSIH II DAN MENDATA DAN MENGELOLA INVENTARIS II



ESA FKIP Universitas Riau members have successfully implemented a clean secretariat and inventory II by actively working together to clean and organize the secretariat space, thus creating a more comfortable, productive, and efficient environment. This collective effort, which is now entering its second phase, has not only increased focus and teamwork, but also fostered a strong sense of responsibility, unity, and common purpose among members. By maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ESA continues to foster a positive culture that supports collaboration and effective work.

3. ADMINISTRATION CLASS l 



Pekanbaru, April 16th, 2025 – ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2024/2025, through its Secretary Division, successfully held a workshop titled “Administration Class I” under the theme “Enhancing Professional Skills for Administrative Success in an Organization”. The event was held in Aula BEM FKIP Universitas Riau and attended by the core members, heads and secretaries of each division and bureau, and the EGG (English Gold Generation) members of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau.

4. FUNCOM (FUNDING COMPETITION) 2025


Wednesday, April 16th, 2025. Pekanbaru, April 16th, 2025 - Funding Competition 2025 with the theme "The Magic of Flour: From Dough to Delight" was successfully held on April 13th, 2025 at Pentas Seni 1 FKIP Universitas Riau, starting from 08.00 a.m. until finished.

This exciting annual event was organized by the Funding and Business Division of ESA FKIP
Universitas Riau 2024/2025 and involved enthusiastic participation from 1st to 3rd-year students of the English Education Department. The competition aimed to enhance cooperation across generations, foster creativity and teamwork in the culinary field, and strengthen bonds between students from different classes.

5. NATIONAL ENGLISH OLYMPIAD (NEO) COMMITTEE MEETING IIl


The momentum keeps building! Today marks NEO Committee Meeting III, held in Room D6 from 09.30 a.m. until finish. Every competition field presented their developments, timelines, and innovative strategies to make the National English Olympiad 2025 truly unforgettable!

Are you as excited as we are? The countdown continues, and we're more ready than ever to showcase the brilliance of English talent across the nation! Stay tuned for more updates as we approach this monumental event!

6. KARTINI'S DAY



Pekanbaru, April 29th, 2025 - In Kartini's Day, the Women Resource Division successfully organized the "Kartini's Day Letter Writing Competition" with the theme "Letter to Kartini: Voices of Women in the Modern Era." This competition aimed to honor R.A. Kartini and provide a platform for students to express their thoughts on women's struggles and their relevance in contemporary times

7. NATIONAL ENGLISH OLYMPIAD (NEO) 2025



National English Olympiad (NEO) 2025 is back as one of the biggest work programs of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau which is held every year! This prestigious event is a place for students from various regions to show their English language skills in a competitive and inspiring atmosphere.

This year, NEO 2025 carries an attractive theme, Fairytale, inviting all participants to dare to dream and explore the magical world of imagination. With the jargon Dare to Dream, Ready to Rise, NEO encourages participants to not only appear confident, but also dare to develop and go beyond their limits.

This activity will last for 7 days, starting from April 26 to May 2, 2025, and includes 12 competition categories, including:

3. Scrabble (JHS)

4. Scrabble (SHS)

5. Quiz

6. Western Cosplay

7. 3D Wall News

8. Spelling Bee

9. Speech (SHS)

11. Band Performance

  The Inauguration and General Upgrading of ESA FKIP UNRI 2023/2024 On Saturday, November 25th, 2023, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau for 2023/2024  period  had announced its organizational structure through t he Inauguration and General Upgrading of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2023/2024 period was successfully held in room D4 English Education Department of FKIP UNRI from 08.00 a.m. to finish.
