ESA's Recap on February 2025: Strengthening Bonds, Leadership, and Personal Growth

Can you believe we've already cruised through February? Now, it's time to move into March! From bidding farewell to the lovable vibes to embracing the budding freshness of a new month, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2024/2025 has been buzzing with some exciting work programs. Wondering what went down from February to March? Well, buckle up because the Islamic and Spiritual Division, Membership Development Division, Women Resource Division, Secretary Division, and Social and Politic Division have been rocking the scene with ten stellar work programs.
In February there were ten work programs that have been implemented. But, what are those eight work programs? Here are the work programs that have been implemented this month. Ready to catch the highlights? Let's dive in!

1. ISRA MI'RAJ 

On February 11, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau's Islamic & Spiritual Division, in collaboration with HIMA SATORI, held a lecture at Mushalla FKIP Universitas Riau to commemorate Isra Mi'raj. The event featured Ayunda Yulistiawati, S.Pd., as the keynote speaker. She discussed the significance of prayer in a Muslim’s life and emphasized that prayer is not just a religious obligation but a direct communication with Allah SWT, providing inner peace and guidance in daily life.  
The lecture attracted many FKIP Universitas Riau students eager to deepen their understanding of the event’s spiritual meaning. A discussion session allowed participants to engage with the speaker and explore the relevance of prayer in overcoming life’s challenges. Through this event, ESA aimed to inspire students to strengthen their devotion and spiritual connection. 

2. FAMILY GATHERING 
Moments of Family Gathering
On February 12, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau hosted a Family Gathering to strengthen relationships among its members through interactive activities. The day began with a group exercise, energizing participants with a series of engaging games that focused on teamwork and coordination. Among these was the "Dragon’s Tail" game, which required agility and cooperation, and "Spoon Marble Relay," where precision and speed were tested.
The final game, inspired by "Red Light, Green Light," challenged participants' focus and self-control. The event concluded with a reflection session where members shared insights on the importance of teamwork and communication. By organizing such gatherings, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau fosters a sense of community, encouraging members to bond beyond academic activities.

3. ENGLISH MOTIVATION AND ORGANIZATION TRAINING (EMOT)
Moments of English Motivation and Organization Training (EMOT) 2025
On February 15-16, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held EMOT 2025, a two-day training program designed to develop leadership, organization, and self-improvement skills. The first day featured sessions on leadership, organizational management, and time management, led by experienced speakers. Participants engaged in discussions, Q&A sessions, and ice-breaking activities to make learning more interactive and enjoyable.
The second day focused on human resource management, problem-solving, and goal-setting. Each session provided students with practical strategies to apply in academic and organizational settings. The event concluded with closing discussions and an introduction to the EGG (English Great Generation) Internship Program. EMOT 2025 was not just a training session but a transformative experience aimed at preparing future leaders. 

4. WOMEN STUDY I

On February 19, 2025, the Women Resource Division held "Women Study I," addressing the theme "Smell Good, Feel Good: The Importance of Body Hygiene for Women." The discussion highlighted how body hygiene is crucial for physical health, self-confidence, and social interactions. Participants learned about daily habits that help maintain body freshness and the psychological impact of personal hygiene.
This session aimed to increase awareness among women about the importance of self-care. By understanding factors that influence body odor and proper hygiene practices, participants were encouraged to adopt healthier habits. The event emphasized that self-care is an essential aspect of personal well-being and respect for oneself and others.

5. OPENING OF ENGLISH STUDY CLUB (ESC)

On February 22, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau launched the English Study Club (ESC) 2025 with the theme “From Conversation to Connection.” The event was designed to enhance students’ English proficiency through engaging discussions and interactive training sessions. Participants took part in workshops on English essay writing, delivered by Kie Roger Nasution, and the British Parliamentary Debate, led by Jupri Yanus Halawa.  
Each session provided valuable techniques to improve academic writing and debating skills. The event also included ice-breaking activities to keep participants engaged. The ESC Opening successfully introduced students to a collaborative learning environment where they could develop their English skills while building meaningful connections with peers.

6. PELATIHAN ADVOKASI DASAR (PAD)
Moments of Pelatihan Advokasi Dasar (PAD)
On February 23, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Pelatihan Advokasi Dasar (PAD) 2025 to equip students with essential advocacy skills. The event featured sessions on trial techniques, advocacy principles, and action management. Participants engaged in a court trial simulation, where they practiced legal procedures and learned how to advocate effectively.  
The training continued with a session on action management, where students explored strategies for planning and executing advocacy campaigns. By the end of the event, participants had developed a deeper understanding of legal and leadership skills. PAD 2025 aimed to empower students with the confidence and competence to advocate for justice and meaningful change.  

7. INVENTARIS DAN SEKRE BERSIH I
Moments of Inventaris dan Sekre Bersih I
On February 26, 2025, the Secretary Division organized a routine cleaning and inventory session at the ESA Secretariat, ensuring a well-maintained and comfortable workspace. Members of the Secretary Division and Membership Division worked together with EGG (English Great Generation) members to tidy up the space.
This initiative not only promoted cleanliness but also encouraged teamwork and responsibility among ESA members. By maintaining an organized working environment, the association ensures that its members can work efficiently and productively. The event reflected ESA’s commitment to fostering a professional and supportive atmosphere.
