March 2025 was a dynamic and inspiring month for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau! With various academic, social, and community-driven programs, we strengthened our bonds, expanded our knowledge, and made a meaningful impact within and beyond our organization. From skill-enhancing training sessions to uplifting Ramadan activities, and even exciting collaborations, every event reflected our dedication to growth and empowerment. As we continue our journey, let’s look back at the memorable moments that made March a month to remember!
1. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
The Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau celebrated International Women’s Day with the Creating Videos competition, held from March 1st to 11th, 2025, under the theme “Shine with Confidence and Uniqueness!” Participants showcased self-love through creative content on Instagram and TikTok.
Adelia Putri Andini won The Best Video, Fifi Rizkia Putri received The Most Creative Video, and Ilya Husna earned The Most Favorite Video title. Congratulations to all the winners! Looking forward to more empowering events ahead.

The Journalistic Bureau of the Communication and Informatics Division (KOMINFO) of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau proudly presents the March edition of ESA’s Wall Magazine: Light and Blessings!
Ramadan is a time of reflection, kindness, and spiritual growth. This edition highlights how sincerity brings light to our hearts and how every act of goodness spreads blessings to those around us.
3. OPENING KELAS TAHSIN DAN TAHFIDZ 2025

On Saturday, March 8th, 2025, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held the Opening Kelas Tahsin dan Tahfiz via Zoom, themed "Qur’an Generation, with Islamic Character." This event aimed to strengthen students’ Qur'anic recitation skills while fostering a deeper connection with Islamic values.
The session featured a Qur’anic recitation by Dina Olivia, a welcoming speech from Azril Bagaskoro Harimurti, and an insightful presentation by Muhammad Ifebri, S.Pd, who guided participants on proper Hijaiyah pronunciation and the correct application of Tajwid rules. The event concluded with a prayer, virtual documentation, and closing remarks. With this program, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau continues to support students in their journey of spiritual and academic growth.
4. KELAS PELATIHAN MTQ 2025

From March 9th to 16th, 2025, the Islamic and Spiritual Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held Kelas Pelatihan MTQ 2025 under the theme "The Art of The Qur'an: Harmonizing Voice, Memory, Understanding, and Calligraphy." Held at Mushola FKIP Universitas Riau, this event allowed students to explore the beauty of the Qur’an through tilawah, poster design, calligraphy, and da’wah while enhancing their skills and spiritual understanding.
Over three days, participants engaged in insightful sessions led by Daffa Putra Darmawan, S.Pd., a member of LSO L51 Al-Maidan Generations 23 & 24, who guided them in Qur'anic recitation; Griselda Nabila Zahran, Coordinator of the Communication and Informatics Division ESA 2024/2025, who conducted a poster design class; Abdul Hamid Sinaga, 1st place winner of MTQM FKIP Universitas Riau, who shared his expertise in calligraphy; and Sukmawati Ira Saputri, S.Pd., Head of Reasoning and Science of LIFKIP UNRI 2022/2023, who led the da’wah session. The event concluded with the announcement of the best participants, recognizing their dedication and progress. Through this program, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau continues to encourage both artistic expression and a deeper connection with the Qur’an.
5. FIRST MEETING OF ENGLISH STUDY CLUB

Throughout March 2025, the Intellectual Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully launched the first meetings of its English Study Clubs, covering Essay, Story Telling, Book Club, Debate, and Speech.
- Essay Club (March 12th, Room J1) introduced participants to basic essay structure and thesis statements.
- Story Telling Club (March 18th, Room D7) explored story telling techniques to engage audiences.
- Book Club (March 18th, Room D6) encouraged participants to describe their books in three words, sparking insightful discussions.
- Debate Club (March 18th, Room D8) focused on member introductions and debate structure.
- Speech Club (March 20th, Room D4) covered the fundamentals of speech and public speaking.

6. NATIONAL ENGLISH OLYMPIAD (NEO) COMMITTEE MEETING II

This month, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held its second NEO Committee Meeting on Friday, March 14th, 2025, at 2 PM in room D6, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead! The National English Olympiad (NEO) isn’t just a competition, it’s a movement that empowers youth to enhance their English skills, showcase their talents, and shine on the national stage.
With fresh ideas and unstoppable enthusiasm, the team is determined to make NEO 2025 the most iconic edition yet. March was just the beginning. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we bring this vision to life!
7. WRP (WOMEN RESOURCE PROJECT) II

As part of the preparations for NEO 2025, the Women Resources Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau participated in creating event decorations on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, they gathered in the lab near the Micro Teaching room, bringing their creativity to life through intricate paper designs and handcrafted hanging flower ornaments.
This hands-on project was more than just decoration, it was a testament to teamwork and dedication. Every detail was carefully crafted to add a special touch to NEO 2025, ensuring a vibrant and welcoming event atmosphere. With each piece taking shape, the excitement for the big event continues to grow!
8. TAKJIL ON THE ROAD

The Social and Politic Division, together with the Islamic and Spiritual Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, organized the "Takjil on the Road" initiative, sharing iftar meals with the surrounding community. Running from March 10th to 17th, donations were collected from ESA members and the public, then used to prepare takjil such as dates, traditional cakes, and fried foods.
On the distribution day, volunteers packed and organized the takjil before gathering at the ESA Universitas Riau secretariat for the opening led by Taufiq Waafi Putra, Chief of Events. The team then distributed the meals at two locations, Danau UNRI and the Tobek Gadang intersection. More than just providing food, this initiative strengthened the bond between ESA members and the community, embodying the spirit of togetherness and generosity in Ramadan.
9. NGABERS AND ESA TADARUS

On Friday, March 21st, 2025, the Islamic and Spiritual Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Ngabuburit Bareng ESA (NGABERS) & ESA Tadarus 2025 at Hallu Cafe, bringing together ESA committee members for a spiritually enriching Ramadan gathering. The event opened with remarks from Shevan McKenzie Ozura, Chairperson of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, and Azril Bagaskoro Harimurti, Coordinator of the Islamic and Spiritual Division, who emphasized faith, unity, and shared learning.
The evening featured a Tadarus Together session, followed by a warm iftar at 6:30 PM and Maghrib prayer. Attendees then engaged in a Sharing Hearing session, exchanging reflections on spiritual growth and student activities. The night concluded with a group photo, capturing the spirit of togetherness. This event successfully strengthened connections within ESA while deepening members' spiritual journeys.
10. SECRETARY TRAINING

Secretary Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held Secretary Training 2025 under the theme "Empowering Excellence: Enhancing Secretarial & Administrative Skills for the Future." This event equipped participants with essential secretarial and administrative skills, focusing on official correspondence. The training featured a session by Ega Rahmadani, who provided insights into secretarial duties and correspondence management, followed by an interactive Q&A.
Participants actively engaged in discussions, exchanging ideas and best practices. The event concluded with reflections and a group photo, reinforcing ESA’s commitment to developing professional skills among its members.
11. EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR ORGANIZATION (EXPO) WITH HIMA IMAGI FIK UNIVERSITAS TELKOM BANDUNG

On March 25th, 2025, the Communication and Informatics Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held the Experience Exchange Program for Organization (EXPO) with HIMA IMAGI FIK Universitas Telkom Bandung. The virtual event, which began at 8 PM, featured a dynamic sharing session where both organizations exchanged insights on past and upcoming work programs. This interactive discussion fostered collaboration and is expected to bring valuable benefits to both student associations.
