October has been a month filled with reflection, transition, and meaningful organizational growth for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2024/2025. Not only did we continue to carry out programs that strengthened our bonds and nurtured our sense of togetherness, but we also reached one of the most defining moments of our journey—the ESA Succession Session (Sidang Suksesi).

This important forum became a space for exchanging ideas, delivering constructive insights, and embracing the spirit of regeneration. Every voice mattered, every discussion held value, and every decision reflected our shared responsibility in ensuring that ESA remains a vibrant and sustainable home for all its members. The atmosphere—sometimes intense, sometimes heartfelt—reminded us that leadership is not only about positions, but about commitment, continuity, and care for the organization we love.

Alongside the Succession Session, October was also marked by collaborative activities and supportive interactions that continued to foster creativity, unity, and the warmth of family within ESA. These moments—big and small—came together to form a narrative of progress, dedication, and shared purpose.

As we look back on October, let us appreciate every contribution, effort, and step taken. Because here in ESA, we are not just participating in an organization—we are building identity, shaping character, and carrying forward a legacy together.

1. Women Sharing

 

Pekanbaru,On October 3rd, at 3:00 PM, the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held the Women Sharing activity in Room D4, FKIP Universitas Riau. The event was guided by a moderator and opened with a speech from the Head of the Women Resource Division, who officially commenced the program.

Women Sharing served as a platform to share challenges and exchange experiences. The activity also provided many benefits, including fostering a sense of togetherness, strengthening relationships among members, and broadening insights through shared experiences.

2. Kajian Pengurus II

 

 
Pekanbaru, October 4th,the English Student Association (ESA) FKIP Universitas Riau proudly held the Kajian Pengurus II at 9.00 a.m. in Room D4. The Membership Development Division organized the session. It created a meaningful space for reflection and learning, while also strengthening the bonds among ESA board members. As the closing kajian pengurus, it highlighted the spirit of togetherness, shared values, and solidarity. These continue to guide ESA in fostering a supportive and united organizational environment.

3. 𝐄xperience 𝐄xchange 𝐏rogram for 𝐎rganizations (𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐎) from 𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐏oliteknik  𝐁engkalis to 𝐄𝐒𝐀 𝐅𝐊𝐈𝐏 𝐔niversitas 𝐑iau

 

Pekanbaru, October 11th, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau proudly welcomed LEDSA Politeknik Bengkalis in the Experience Exchange Program for Organizations (EXPO).
The event was held from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. in Room D4.

This visit served as an enriching opportunity for both organizations to share experiences, discuss management systems, and strengthen inter-campus relations. The exchange also fostered collaboration and understanding, inspiring each participant to bring new insights back to their respective organizations.

May this moment mark the beginning of continuous synergy and meaningful partnership between ESA FKIP Universitas Riau and LEDSA Politeknik Bengkalis.

4. Educational Issue Study III

 

Pekanbaru,On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, the Intellectual Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau proudly held an event entitled Educational Issue Study III with the theme “Independent Learning: Between Skill, Struggle, and Survival Mode.” The event took place at D1 Room, starting at 8.00 a.m.

The discussion provided a platform for English Education students to explore how independent learning shapes their journey in mastering skills, overcoming struggles, and adapting to challenges in today’s educational landscape. It encouraged participants to stay motivated and resilient in self-directed learning, fostering critical thinking and personal growth among future educators.

5.Leaders Meeting XI

 

Pekanbaru, October 16th, at 8:00 PM, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau's executive team and division leaders held their ninth online Leaders Meeting via Google Meet. The meeting focused on reviewing program progress and improving inter-division coordination. The discussion was engaging and productive, reflecting strong collaboration and commitment to growth. Each leader shared updates, identified challenges, and proposed strategies to enhance future activities, ensuring that every step taken aligns with the organization’s goals. The meeting not only strengthened communication among divisions, but also reinforced the collective spirit of responsibility in maintaining ESA’s progress and sustainability.

6. Monitoring Internal 

In October 2025, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau carried out a series of internal monitoring sessions with several divisions within the organization. These activities aimed to evaluate program implementation, strengthen teamwork, and ensure smooth progress across all divisions. On Thursday, October 16th, 2025, a monitoring session was held with the Intellectual Development Division in front of Room D8 at 4:00 PM. Subsequently, on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, a similar session took place with the Communication and Informatics Division in Room J3 at 2:30 PM, conducted in a reflective atmosphere where members shared insights and appreciation for the journey they had built together. Finally, on Friday, October 24th, 2025, the Membership Development Division conducted another session with the Women Resource Division in Room J2 at 2:00 PM, focusing on activity evaluation and strengthening coordination between divisions. Overall, these internal monitoring sessions served as an important platform to enhance collaboration, improve performance, and foster a stronger sense of togetherness within ESA FKIP Universitas Riau.

7. Communication Adancement Mission ( CAM ) to Suska FM  

Pekanbaru, October 17th, the Communication and Informatics Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted the Communication Advancement Mission (CAM) in collaboration with Suska FM. The event, held at FDK 07 Room and Suska FM Lab starting at 3 PM, featured a sharing and hearing session where both organizations exchanged insights on their programs. In addition to the discussion, participants also joined a tour of the Suska FM Lab and had the opportunity to experience firsthand how to become a radio announcer. The event was highly engaging and is expected to bring valuable benefits to both parties.

8. Rapat Koordinasi III

 

Pekanbaru, October 18th, To ensure every program runs smoothly and every team is on the same page, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held a Coordination Meeting today, located in Room D4, starting from 9.00 AM until it was successfully concluded.

This meeting was attended by all divisions, where we shared updates, evaluated recent activities, and laid out our plans for the upcoming months. More than just a discussion, it was a moment to strengthen communication, align visions, and boost our team spirit for a better and more impactful ESA! 

9. Sharing Hearing DPK II

 

Pekanbaru, October 18th,, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau through the Membership Development Division held the Sharing Hearing DPK II activity which was held at Room D4 FKIP Universitas Riau, starting at 4.00 PM. This activity is a forum where all members have the opportunity to convey their aspirations, suggestions, and evaluations of the organization's performance. The discussion took place in an atmosphere full of openness, kinship, and enthusiasm to continue to grow together.

10. Sidang Suksesi Ke - XXIX ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 

 

Pekanbaru, October 29th, 2025 – The Social and Politics Division of the English Student Association (ESA) FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held Sidang Suksesi ke - XXIX ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2025, with the theme "Passing the Torch, Embracing the Future". The two-day session, held from October 25th-26th in Room D6, aimed to review and ratify the accountability report of the ESA FKIP management for the 2024/2025 period.

The first day, Saturday, October 25th, 2025, began at 07.30 a.m. with registration, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 08.00 a.m., hosted by Masters of Ceremony Aurel Putri Sulistyo and Dewi Aprilia Fransiska. The ceremony continued with a Qur’an recitation by Muqtia Destari and the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” “Mars Mahasiswa,” and “Mars ESA,” led by Fariha Najwah.

Opening remarks were then delivered by Syamsul Bari as the Chief of Event, Fajri Suryandza Azwar as acting chairman of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, and Muhammad Rezal as a representative of the chairman of BEM FKIP Universitas Riau, who also officially opened the session. "This hearing session is not just a change of management, but a momentum for the regeneration of spirit, ideas, and commitment to continue the  organization's struggle", he stated during his speech. The opening ceremony closed with a prayer led by Muhammad Rajif Pradipa Wisesa.

Afterward, the forum moved to the discussion and ratification of the event agenda and rules of order, followed by the election, appointment, and handover from the temporary presidium to the permanent presidium. The permanent presidium then led the presentation and discussion of the Accountability Report of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau for the 2024/2025 period. The first day’s session ran from 10.00 a.m. until 05.15 p.m., with scheduled breaks at 12.30 p.m. and 03.35 p.m.

The second day, Sunday, October 26th, 2025, resumed at 08.00 a.m. under the leadership of the permanent presidium. Discussions on the accountability report continued throughout the day, with breaks at 12.30 p.m. and 03.35 p.m. The forum concluded with the general views of DPK ESA FKIP Universitas Riau and the official ratification of the 2024/2025 Accountability Report at 05.30 p.m., the election and confirmation of the ESA's core management for the 2025/2026 term took place, alongside discussions and ratifications of the AD/ART and GBPK for the next cabinet of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, followed by the closing ceremony led by the committee.

Beyond the formal process, the organizing committee meticulously documented the event, capturing key moments from the succession meeting. Additionally, the Secretary Division presented Administration award to the Intellectual Development Division and the Staff of the year award. The Membership Development Division presented the ESA award to the Women Resource Division. The Intellectual Development Division also conducted an quiz award.

The Sidang Suksesi ke - XXIX ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2025 reflected ESA’s dedication to continuity, evaluation, and regeneration within its leadership structure—ensuring the sustainability of the organization’s vision and mission for years to come.

11. ESA Award 2025

Pekanbaru, october 26th, At the end of the Sidang Suksesi ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2024/2025, the Membership Development Division presented the ESA Award as a form of appreciation for the dedication and performance of the best division throughout the year.

We, the entire ARUNA NISCALA Cabinet family, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau 2024/2025 period, would like to congratulate the Women Resource Division for receiving the award. May this appreciation be a motivation to continue contributing, inspiring, and growing stronger in the future.

12. Quiz Award 2025

 

Pekanbaru, On Sunday, October 26th, 2025, in Room D6, the ESA Quiz Award was successfully held! This event served as the closing highlight of the ESA Quiz Series, which had been running through ESA FKIP Universitas Riau’s Instagram Story for the entire Aruna Niscala period. The series invited ESA members to challenge their knowledge and engage in a fun, interactive way throughout the year.

After months of participation, excitement, and learning, the crown of ESA Quiz Award Champion was finally earned by Nurjannah Safitri from the Rohani Islam Division! 🌟

Congratulations to our winner and every participant who took part in the quiz journey. Your consistency, curiosity, and enthusiasm truly embody the spirit of ESA.

13. Administration Award 2025

 

Pekanbaru, october 26th, As the Sidang Suksesi ESA FKIP Universitas Riau Assembly reached its meaningful conclusion at Room D6, FKIP Universitas Riau, the Administration Award was presented as a form of appreciation to the division that has demonstrated excellence, consistency, and responsibility in administrative management throughout the Aruna Niscala Cabinet period.

This year, the Administration Award is proudly granted to the Intellectual Development Division for their outstanding dedication in maintaining structured documentation, effective correspondence, and well-organized reporting — reflecting professionalism in every step of their contribution.

The ceremony marked not only the end of a chapter, but also a sincere passing of responsibility to the future leaders who will continue to uphold the integrity and spirit of ESA. Together, we move forward — embracing growth, renewal, and purpose.

14. Staf of the Year ESA FKIP 2025

 

Pekanbaru, october 26th, As the Sidang Suksesi ESA FKIP Universitas Riau Assembly came to a remarkable conclusion at Room D6, FKIP Universitas Riau, the Staff of the Year Award was presented as a form of appreciation to outstanding individuals who have shown exceptional dedication, teamwork, and responsibility throughout the Aruna Niscala Cabinet period.

This year, the Staff of the Year ESA FKIP 2025 is proudly awarded to:
