ESA's  Recap on February 2026

February 2026 marked a dynamic and productive month for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau under the Lunara Vistara Cabinet. Throughout the month, ESA carried out a variety of programs aimed at strengthening organizational capacity, enhancing members' skills, and fostering unity within the academic community. From leadership training and advocay development to collaborative meetings and academic forms, each activity reflected ESA's commitment to growth, professionalism, and meaningful engagement. Let's take a look at how ESA continued its journey and accomplishments throughout February. 

1. ESA's Wall Magazine 

The Moments of ESA's Wall Magazine

On February 3rd, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau published a new edition of ESA’s Wall Magazine titled “You’re the Apple of My Eye,” managed by the Communication and Informatics Division. This edition featured the names of ESA board members, highlighted several programs that have been successfully implemented, and presented creative content related to apple-based creations in line with the theme. Through this wall magazine, the division aimed to share organizational information, appreciate members’ contributions, and foster a sense of unity and positivity within the ESA community.

2. English Motivation and Organization Training (EMOT) 2026

The Moments of EMOT 2026

On February 7th–8th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted the English Motivation and Organization Training (EMOT) 2026, organized by the Membership Development Division under the theme “Leading with Purpose, Growing with Impact.” The activity began at 07.30 A.M. and took place in the Microteaching Room, FKIP Universitas Riau.

On the first day, participants attended a series of inspiring sessions delivered by enthusiastic speakers. M. Ikhsan Darmawan presented material on leadership, encouraging participants to become responsible, influential, and value-driven leaders. Ego Prayogo discussed time management and organization, motivating participants to manage their time wisely, remain disciplined, and maintain consistency. Rakan Tsany delivered a session on teamwork, emphasizing the importance of trust, communication, and responsibility within a team. Meanwhile, Al Mujaddid highlighted goal setting, stressing the significance of establishing clear goals and developing a growth mindset.

On the second day, the training continued with an inspiring session by Fazilatunnisa, who presented the topic “4C as the Foundation of Professionalism.” Through this session, participants were introduced to the importance of Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking as essential skills in building professionalism within organizational and academic environments.

Through EMOT 2026, ESA aimed to strengthen members’ leadership capacity, organizational skills, and professional mindset, preparing them to contribute actively and responsibly within the organization and beyond.

3. Leaders Meeting II

The Moments of Leaders Meeting II

On Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at 02:30 P.M., ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Leaders Meeting II, a monthly meeting organized by the core team as a discussion platform with leaders from all divisions. The meeting was conducted offline at Cafe Samara and attended by the core team, Division Heads, and Division Secretaries.

During the meeting, each division presented its progress, challenges, needs, and future plans. The core team provided responses in the form of evaluation, guidance, and collaborative problem-solving. This meeting aimed to strengthen coordination, enhance synergy among divisions, and support more strategic decision-making within the organization.

4. National English Olympiad (NEO) Committee Meeting II

On Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at 03.00 P.M. until finished, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held the National English Olympiad (NEO) Committee Meeting II in Room D6. The meeting served as a follow-up coordination session to review preparation progress, discuss technical matters, and ensure readiness for the upcoming National English Olympiad. Through this meeting, the committee strengthened coordination, teamwork, and commitment to organizing NEO as a platform for developing students’ English skills and confidence at the national level.

5. Women Study (WODY) I

The Moments of WODY I

On February 13th, 2026, at 03.00 P.M., the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Women Study (WODY) I in Room D6 under the theme “Child Grooming as a Social Issue: The Role of Young Adults.” The session provided a space for discussion and raised awareness of child grooming as a serious social issue requiring attention, especially from young adults.

Participants discussed the meaning and stages of child grooming, contributing social and cultural factors, the role of media and technology, its impact on victims, and strategies for prevention and reporting. This activity encouraged participants to deepen their understanding and strengthen a shared sense of social responsibility.

6. Secretary Training 2026

The Moments of Secretary Training 2026

On February 14th, 2026, at 08.00 A.M., the Secretary Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Secretary Training 2026 in Room D4 under the theme “Neat Administration, Accurate Finances, Towards a Professional Organization.” The training aimed to improve participants’ understanding of proper administrative management and accurate financial reporting within the organization.

The session emphasized structured documentation, effective correspondence, responsible financial recording, and professionalism in organizational management. Through this activity, participants gained practical knowledge to support better governance and strengthen ESA’s organizational performance.

7. Pelatihan Advokasi Dasar (PAD) 2026

The Moments of PAD 2026

On February 15th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau through the Social and Politics Division, held Pelatihan Advokasi Dasar (PAD) 2026 under the theme "From Insight to an Action: Foundational Skills in Advocay Practice." The training aimed to equip participants with essential advocacy knowledge and practical skills to transform critical insight into real action.

The session featured several speakers, including Shevan McKenzie Ozura (Trial Technique), Sandi Purwanto, S.Si. (Basic Advocacy), and Muhammad Azhari (Action Management). Through this activity, participants were expected to strengthen their advocacy skills, enhance critical awareness, and be encouraged to contribute positively to social change.

8. Women Resource Project (WRP) I

The Moments of WRP I

On February 24th, 2026, at 03.00 P.M., the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted Women Resource Project (WRP) I in the NEO Decoration Room. This activity aimed to support the NEO Decoration Committee in preparing materials and decorations for NEO 2026, while strengthening collaboration and teamwork among members involved in the preparation process.

9. Opening of English Study Club (ESC) 2026

On February 28th, 2026, starting at 08.00 A.M. until finished, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held the day one of Opening English Study Club (ESC) 2026 in Room D4. The program was organized by the Intellectual Development Division under the theme “Think Critically, Speak Confidently, Write Effectively.”

During the first day, Fifi Rizkia Putri delivered material on public speaking. ESC 2026 offers four clubs: speech, debate, storytelling, and essay, and is intended for students of the English Education Study Program at Universitas Riau, Class of 2025, to develop their communication and academic skills.

10. The 43rd Anniversary of the English Study Program

The Moments of The 43rd Anniversary of the English Study Program

On February 28th, 2026, at 02.00 P.M. until finished, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau commemorated the 43rd Anniversary of the English Study Program at M. Diah Hall under the theme “Celebrating Growth in Language and Faith.” The event was organized by the Membership Development Division in collaboration with the Islamic and Spiritual Division.

The celebration brought together the entire English Study Program family, including students, lecturers, and staff, creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness and gratitude. This event aimed to honor the program’s long-standing contribution to academic growth and character development while strengthening unity, spiritual values, and a shared sense of pride within the academic community.
