July 2026 was another meaningful month for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau under the Lunara Vistara Cabinet, filled with valuable experiences, collaboration, and continuous organizational growth. Throughout the month, ESA remained committed to creating meaningful opportunities that encouraged learning, creativity, leadership, and active participation among its members. Every activity reflected the organization's dedication to fostering innovation, strengthening teamwork, and building a supportive environment where members could grow both personally and professionally. Let's take a closer look at ESA's inspiring journey throughout July 2026!

1. Tugas Literasi II 

The Moments of Tugas Literasi II

On Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully conducted Tugas Literasi II through Google Meet, beginning at 08.00 PM until the program concluded. The activity was organized to strengthen participants’ digital literacy by increasing awareness of cybersecurity, the importance of protecting personal information, and responsible online behavior. The event commenced with an opening session hosted by Trizy Aulia Hertina Br. Depari as the Master of Ceremony, followed by welcoming remarks from the Head of the Membership Development Division, Muhammad Hafizon, who expressed his hope that the activity would help participants better understand the importance of protecting themselves and using technology wisely in their daily lives. The Chairman of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, Divo Zidane Akbar Nugraha Medi, also delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of continuously developing digital literacy as an essential competency in today’s technology-driven society. The session was then officially handed over to the moderator, Cahaya Azqia, who guided the participants throughout the main activities.

During the program, participants watched an educational video discussing digital security, cyber awareness, and practical strategies to protect themselves from cyber threats. To reinforce their understanding, they completed an interactive Kahoot quiz based on the material presented, allowing them to reflect on and apply the knowledge they had gained throughout the session. The event concluded with a closing session, marking the successful completion of the activity. Through Tugas Literasi II, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau reaffirmed its commitment to fostering digitally literate, responsible, and cyber-aware officers who are well-prepared to navigate the challenges of the modern digital era while promoting safe and ethical practices in the digital world.

2. Leaders Meeting VII

The Moments of Leaders Meeting VII

On Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, the core team of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully conducted Leaders Meeting VII online through Google Meet at 07.30 PM. The monthly meeting was organized as a discussion forum between the core team and the leaders of each division to evaluate organizational progress and strengthen communication among leaders. The meeting was attended by the core team, Division Heads, and Division Secretaries, providing an opportunity for each division to discuss their current conditions, work program implementation, and member performance. Through this meeting, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau aimed to maintain effective coordination and ensure that every division could carry out its responsibilities efficiently.

During the discussion session, each division was given the opportunity to share updates regarding the implementation of their work programs, identify challenges they encountered, and evaluate the performance and relationships among members within their divisions. The core team provided feedback, guidance, and support to help address obstacles and strengthen collaboration across divisions. Through Leaders Meeting VII, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau reaffirmed its commitment to fostering effective communication, improving member performance, and enhancing organizational synergy to achieve its goals successfully.

3. Visual Arts Poster Contest (VAPE) 2026

The Moments of VAPE 2026

On Friday, July 24th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, through its Communication and Informatics Division, officially announced the winners of the Visual Arts Poster Contest (VAPE) 2026. Carrying the theme, “Blooming Creativity through Floral Art and Endless Imagination,” this national competition provided a platform for participants to express their creativity through meaningful visual artworks. Participants explored one of four designated topics: Creating Creative Innovations Based on Digital Technology, Becoming an Adaptive Generation in Facing the Development of Artificial Intelligence, Building Positive Personal Branding in the Social Media Era, and Creating Inclusive Spaces through Modern Cross-Cultural Communication. The competition opened its registration and submission period from June 10th to July 20th, 2026, followed by the judging process from July 21st to 23rd, 2026, before culminating in the official announcement of the winners on July 24th, 2026.

The winners were selected based on the creativity, originality, relevance, and overall quality of their poster designs. Ida Ayu Wayan Widya KS was awarded 1st Place, followed by Candrika Saras Pebiandini as 2nd Place and Nabila Amelia Putri as 3rd Place. Meanwhile, Reihan Fatihul Ihsan, Monika Aini Panjaitan, and Athifa Kaila Ghaisani were recognized as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Runner-up, respectively. Through the Visual Arts Poster Contest (VAPE) 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau reaffirmed its commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence while providing young creators with a platform to express their ideas and inspire others through impactful visual communication.

4. Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru  (PKKMB) Universitas Riau 2026

The Moments of PKKMB 2026

On July 29th–31st, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau actively participated in Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) Universitas Riau 2026 as part of the university’s orientation program for new students. Throughout the three-day program, activities were conducted at different levels, beginning with the university level at the Open Space Field, followed by the faculty level at the M. Diah Building, and concluding with the study program level in Room D6, FKIP Universitas Riau. The orientation was designed to introduce new students to the university’s academic environment, institutional values, faculty system, and study program while helping them adapt to campus life and prepare for their educational journey at Universitas Riau.

During the three-day orientation, new students participated in a variety of informative and engaging sessions, including introductions to university leaders, faculty officials, lecturers, academic advisors, and the English Student Association (ESA). They also took part in class representative elections, the announcement of the Creative Video Contest for English Freshmen (CREVES) winners, and other activities aimed at strengthening their understanding of academic life and student organizations. Through its involvement in PKKMB Universitas Riau 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau reaffirmed its commitment to welcoming new students, fostering a sense of belonging, and supporting them as they begin their academic journey within the English Education Study Program and the Universitas Riau community.
