August 2026 was another meaningful month for ESA FKIP Universitas Riau under the Lunara Vistara Cabinet, filled with valuable experiences, meaningful connections, and continuous organizational growth. Throughout the month, ESA remained committed to creating opportunities that encouraged learning, collaboration, creativity, leadership, and active participation among its members. From welcoming new students and strengthening internal relationships to developing members’ skills and talents, every activity reflected the organization’s dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging environment where members could grow together. Let’s take a closer look at ESA’s inspiring journey throughout August 2026!

1. Day 4 of PKKMB Universitas Riau 2026

The Moments of Day 4 of PKKMB Universitas Riau 2026

On August 1st, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau participated in the fourth and final day of Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) Universitas Riau 2026, marking the closing of the university-level orientation program. The activity began at 7:00 AM and was held at the Open Space Field, Universitas Riau. The main agenda focused on rehearsing and arranging the paper mob, with new students working together to create coordinated formations as part of the preparation for the closing ceremony. The activity was conducted to conclude the university-level orientation while encouraging students to actively engage in a collaborative campus experience.

Throughout the final day, new students participated in the paper mob rehearsal by following coordinated movements and formations under the direction of the committee. The activity emphasized teamwork, discipline, coordination, and collaboration, allowing students to strengthen their sense of unity while completing their orientation journey. Through its involvement in the closing day of PKKMB Universitas Riau 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau supported the welcoming process of new students and contributed to creating a memorable conclusion to their first experience as members of the Universitas Riau academic community. 

2. ESA's August Wall Magazine

The Moments of ESA's August Wall Magazine

On August 6th, 2026, at 2:00 PM, the Communication and Informatics Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau created ESA’s August Wall Magazine in front of the ESA FKIP Universitas Riau Secretariat. Carrying the theme “Echoes of Freedom,” this month’s edition was designed to commemorate the spirit of Indonesian independence while encouraging ESA members to reflect on the values of patriotism, unity, and contribution in their academic and organizational lives. The wall magazine was presented as an informative and engaging medium to share knowledge, updates, and creative content with ESA members.

The August Wall Magazine featured various sections, including an editorial greeting, documentation of July work programs, student works, academic information on scholarships and competitions, national and international news, ESA’s organizational structure and achievements, the August work program calendar, and a profile of a national hero and their contribution to Indonesia’s independence. It also included interesting facts about the Proclamation of Independence and the relevance of Pancasila values in students’ daily lives. Through these diverse sections, the Communication and Informatics Division aimed to broaden members’ knowledge, provide useful information, and inspire them to continue growing while embracing the spirit of independence.

3. Monitoring Internal

The Moments of Monitoring Internal

On August 7th, 2026, at 2:40 PM, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted an Internal Monitoring activity for the Intellectual Development Division in Classroom D6, FKIP Universitas Riau. The activity was organized to assess and gain a deeper understanding of the division’s internal condition, including its ongoing activities and organizational development. Through this monitoring, the Membership Development Division sought to identify the division’s current needs and areas that required further attention.

During the activity, the Membership Development Division reviewed the internal condition of the Intellectual Development Division and provided evaluation, support, guidance, and recommendations based on the findings. The monitoring served as an evaluation process to encourage effective organizational management and address potential challenges within the division. Through this activity, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau aimed to support the sustainability, development, and continuous improvement of its divisions.

4. ESA's Officer Training 2026

The Moments of ESA's Officer Training 2026

On August 8th, 2026, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held ESA’s Officer Training 2026 in Room D6, FKIP Universitas Riau. Carrying the theme “Speak with Impact, Lead with Confidence,” the training aimed to strengthen the public speaking, communication, and leadership skills of ESA officers to support them in carrying out their responsibilities within the organization. The event began at 8:00 AM with an opening ceremony led by Cahaya Azqia and Annisa Salima Salsabila as Masters of Ceremony, followed by a Qur’an recitation, the singing of Indonesia Raya, Mars Mahasiswa, and Mars ESA, a welcoming speech by ESA’s Chairperson, and a prayer.

The training consisted of two main sessions covering “Public Speaking” and “How to Be MOT & MCR (Master of Training & Master of Classroom).” The first session, delivered by Rani Retno Palupy, focused on building confidence and improving communication skills through a Q&A session and public speaking practice. The second session, delivered by Diva Nadia Andira, introduced participants to the roles and skills required as MOT and MCR, followed by the “Survive as MOT & MCR” practice, where participants worked in groups and performed simulations. Through these interactive sessions, ESA officers gained valuable knowledge and practical experience to enhance their confidence, communication, and leadership skills for their roles within the organization.

5. Family Gathering II

The Moments of Family Gathering

On August 9th, 2026, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully organized Family Gathering II under the theme “Bonding Through Laughter, Staying Close Forever.” The activity was held to strengthen relationships, foster teamwork, and enhance the sense of togetherness among ESA members after the semester break. The event began at 8:00 AM with participant registration and an opening session led by the Master of Ceremony, followed by remarks from the Head of the Membership Development Division, Muhammad Hafizon, and the official opening by ESA’s Student Regent, Divo Zidane Akbar Nugraha Medi. The opening session was followed by a prayer and a group exercise session at 8:50 AM before participants were randomly divided into six groups.

The main activity consisted of four team games: Solar (Simpan Balon Jaga Kelereng), Grab the Bottle, Ekor Naga, and Cup Berputar, which challenged participants’ balance, coordination, concentration, speed, teamwork, and communication. The games were conducted through several rounds and final stages, followed by the presentation of prizes to the first- and second-place winners of each game. Throughout the activity, participants demonstrated enthusiasm, cooperation, and sportsmanship while enjoying opportunities to interact and build closer relationships with one another. The event concluded at 11:00 AM, leaving members with a stronger sense of togetherness and renewed enthusiasm for their activities within ESA FKIP Universitas Riau.

6. Ladies Visiting (LEVIS) I

On August 12th, 2026, the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully organized Ladies Visiting (LEVIS) I under the theme “Strengthening Connections, Supporting Women” at the Secretariat of HMJ Manajemen FEB, Universitas Riau. The activity aimed to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration between the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau and the Women Empowerment Division of HMJ Manajemen FEB Universitas Riau. The event began at 3:10 PM with an opening session led by the moderator, Luluk Febrian Olga Vivi, followed by remarks from Marda Lena, Head of the Women Resource Division, and Athiyyah, Head of the Women Empowerment Division, and concluded with a prayer led by Zellia Na Maisya.

The activity continued with presentations of the respective work programs from both divisions, providing an opportunity to share organizational experiences and gain insights into each division’s approach to women’s empowerment. The event then proceeded with a Sharing and Hearing session, where participants exchanged ideas, experiences, perspectives, and insights regarding women’s empowerment and organizational activities. The gathering concluded with a closing session, certificate presentation, and documentation session. Through LEVIS I, both divisions strengthened communication, built closer connections, and fostered a spirit of collaboration and togetherness between the two organizations.

7. ESA Music Club

The Moments of ESA Music Club

On August 12th–13th, 2026, the Interests and Talents Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held ESA Music Club at 4:00 PM in Room D6, FKIP Universitas Riau. Carrying the theme “Train Your Voice and Master the Guitar,” the activity provided a space for ESAholics to explore and develop their musical interests and talents through vocal and guitar classes. Over the two-day activity, participants were encouraged to learn, practice, and share their passion for music in an enjoyable and collaborative environment.

On the first day, participants explored both vocal and guitar practices, while the second day focused on vocal training, allowing participants to practice singing and develop their vocal abilities together. Throughout the sessions, ESAholics actively participated with enthusiasm and excitement while learning new skills and enjoying the experience of making music together. Through ESA Music Club, the Interests and Talents Division aimed to support members in developing their musical potential while creating a fun and engaging space for creativity and self-expression.

8. Sekre Bersih V

The Moments of Sekre Bersih V

On August 15th, 2026, the Secretary Division, in collaboration with all divisions of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, successfully conducted Sekre Bersih V from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the ESA FKIP Universitas Riau Secretariat. The activity was organized to maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-organized secretariat while encouraging all ESA members to take shared responsibility for their organizational environment. The activity also served as a means of strengthening solidarity and togetherness among members from different divisions.

During the activity, members from all divisions worked together to clean and organize the secretariat through teamwork and shared responsibility. Their enthusiastic participation reflected the spirit of collaboration and unity within ESA FKIP Universitas Riau. Through Sekre Bersih V, the Secretary Division aimed not only to create a more supportive and positive environment for organizational activities but also to strengthen cooperation and a sense of belonging among ESA members.

9. Menngelola dan Mendata Invenatris V

The Moments of Mengelola dan Mendata Inventaris V

On August 15th, 2026, the Secretary Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted the fifth session of “Mengelola dan Mendata Inventaris V” from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the ESA Secretariat Room. The activity was organized to check, record, and organize the secretariat’s inventory, ensuring that all items were properly documented and managed. Through this activity, members of the Secretary Division worked together to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that the organization’s resources remained well organized and accessible.

During the activity, members systematically checked and recorded the available items while organizing the inventory according to the secretariat’s needs. This activity reflected the Secretary Division’s commitment to maintaining effective administrative management and supporting ESA’s operational activities. Through proper inventory management, the activity aimed to improve efficiency, facilitate resource management, and support the smooth implementation of future programs and activities within ESA FKIP Universitas Riau.

10. Pemilihan Duta Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris 2026

The Moments of Pemilihan Duta Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris 2026

On August 16th, 22nd, 29th, and 30th, 2026, the Pemilihan Duta Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris 2026 continued through a series of selection and quarantine activities at Rooms D6 and D4, FKIP Universitas Riau. The program aimed to identify and prepare passionate and talented students who demonstrated academic excellence, effective communication, leadership, creativity, confidence, and a commitment to contributing to the development of English Education. The first stage on August 16th began with a written test and interview, where participants demonstrated their knowledge of educational concepts, English proficiency, visions, and ideas. The finalists then continued to the quarantine stages, which were designed to further develop their skills and readiness as prospective English Education Ambassadors.

Throughout the quarantine sessions, the finalists participated in various enriching activities, including a Public Speaking Class with Al Mujaddid, a Personal Branding Class with Nur Annisa S.P., a Makeup Class with Mayang Putria Yuswa, a photoshoot session, and Catwalk and Choreography Practice with Annisa Muthiyah Syahidah. On the third quarantine day, the finalists showcased their creativity and potential through a Talent Show Performance and presented their Work Programs, demonstrating their ideas and commitment to English Education. Through this series of activities, the finalists strengthened their communication, confidence, leadership, creativity, stage presence, and teamwork while preparing themselves to become inspiring ambassadors who proudly represent the English Education Program.

11. Women Activity (WOTY) II

The Moments of WOTY II

On August 21st, 2026, the Women Resource Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully held Women Activity (WOTY) II: Demo Makeup with Wardah in Room D4, FKIP Universitas Riau. Carrying the theme “Bloom with Beauty, Shine with Confidence,” the activity aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge of simple makeup techniques while creating a space to explore beauty and self-expression. The event began with an opening led by Regita Agustina as the Master of Ceremony, followed by welcoming remarks from Luluk Febrian Olga Vivi as the Chief of the Event and Aurel Putri Sulistyo, General Secretary of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, who officially opened the activity.

The main session was delivered by Wardah, introducing participants to simple makeup techniques and practical beauty tips. The session was followed by an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions and gain further insights into the material. The activity continued with the announcement of the Best Participants, awarded to Aurel Putri Sulistyo and Musnaina Rahmah, before concluding with a visit to the Wardah stand. Through Women Activity II, participants gained new knowledge, strengthened their confidence, and enjoyed a meaningful learning experience centered on beauty, creativity, and self-expression.

12. MABA Gathering 2026

The Moments of MABA Gathering 2026

On August 23rd, 2026, the Membership Development Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau successfully conducted Maba Gathering 2026 at the Mini Stadium, Universitas Riau, from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM. Carrying the theme “Build Character, Strengthen Togetherness,” the activity was organized to welcome English Study Program freshmen, foster meaningful connections, and strengthen their sense of togetherness. The event began with participant registration, followed by an opening session, welcoming remarks from the Chief of Event, Larassaty, and the Chairman of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau, Divo Zidane Akbar Nugraha Medi, a prayer session, group exercise, and team chant activities that encouraged participants to interact, build chemistry, and work together.

The main activities were organized into four interactive posts focusing on discipline, teamwork, interaction, and evaluation. Post 1, the 8S Post, introduced ESA’s 8S values and included a tongue-twister challenge; Post 2, the Teamwork Post, challenged participants to move a marker using strings while emphasizing communication and cooperation; Post 3, the Ice-Breaking Post, provided fun activities along with an introduction to ESA and its values; and Post 4, the Evaluation Post, encouraged participants to reflect on their experiences and lessons learned. Supported by scheduled ISHOMA breaks, the activities created an engaging environment for freshmen to build connections, develop teamwork, and become more familiar with ESA and their fellow students. Through Maba Gathering 2026, participants gained a memorable first experience as members of the English Study Program community.

13. Leaders Meeting VIII

The Moments of Leaders Meeting VIII

On August 28th, 2026, the Core Team of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted Leaders Meeting VIII, a monthly meeting held at 7:30 PM via Google Meet. The meeting was attended by the Core Team, Division Heads, and Division Secretaries and served as a discussion forum to review the internal condition, relationships, and performance of members across all divisions. The meeting was organized to evaluate ongoing organizational activities, discuss challenges, and ensure that each division remained aligned with ESA’s organizational goals.

During the meeting, each division had the opportunity to share updates, evaluate their coordination, identify challenges, and discuss future plans for their respective work programs. The Core Team rovided feedback, guidance, and direction to help divisions address their challenges and improve their overall performance. Through Leaders Meeting VIII, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau strengthened communication and collaboration among its leaders while supporting each division in achieving its work programs and organizational objectives.

14. Peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 2026

The Moments of Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 2026

On August 29th, 2026, the Islamic and Spiritual Division of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 2026 at 8:00 PM via Google Meet. The event was organized to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW and was attended by Muslim English Education students of FKIP Universitas Riau. Carrying the theme “Reflecting on the Prophet’s Life: Finding Meaning and Guidance in Modern Times,” the event featured Muqtia Destari as the speaker and provided participants with an opportunity to learn about the Prophet’s life, character, and teachings.

During the event, participants were invited to reflect on the values and teachings exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW and explore their relevance in modern life. Through the sharing session, participants gained meaningful lessons and insights on applying the Prophet’s example when facing challenges and navigating contemporary life. The commemoration also served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen faith and encourage participants to embody positive values inspired by the Prophet’s life in their daily lives.
