January 2026 continued the journey of ESA FKIP Universitas Riau under the Lunara Vistara Cabinet. After the initial adjustments in December, this month became a phase of growth, connection, and active participation among members. Through various programs and initiatives, ESA focused on strengthening relationships, enhancing internal development, and fostering a sense of togetherness. Let’s take a look at how ESA carried out its activities throughout January.

1. MENTORING MABA 

The Moments of Mentoring Maba

On January 7th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted the Mentoring Maba program, organized by the Membership Development Division. The mentoring program consisted of three meetings. The first meeting was held online on January 7th, 2026, at 7.45 PM. The second meeting was conducted online between January 12th -16th, 2026, at 7.45 PM, with schedules adjusted according to each group. The third meeting took place offline between January 26th - 30th, 2026, with meeting times determined by each group. Through this program, the new students (maba) were expected to gain a better understanding of ESA’s values, roles, and organizational culture as preparation for their upcoming internship.

 2. ENGLISH VOLUNTEER CAMP (EVC) 

The Moments of English Volunteer Camp (EVC)

On January 21st–22nd, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau through the Social and Politics Division carried out the English Volunteer Camp (EVC) at Sialang Sakti Village, Siak Regency, under the theme “Together We Grow: Shared Effort, Shared Memories.” This program was designed to strengthen the connection between university students and the local community while encouraging interest and enthusiasm for learning English.

Through a series of educational and social activities, EVC provided a space for meaningful interaction, collaboration, and shared experiences between participants and the community. The program not only promoted English learning in an engaging way but also fostered social awareness, teamwork, and lasting memories among all those involved.

3. GOTONG ROYONG (GORO) 

The Moments of Gotong Royong 

On January 25th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted a Gotong Royong (GORO) activity organized by the Secretary Division at the ESA FKIP Universitas Riau Secretariat. The activity started at 10.00 AM and continued until completion. This program involved not only members of the Secretary Division but also support from other divisions.

Through this collective effort, members worked together to clean and organize the secretariat area, creating a more comfortable and well-maintained working environment. The goro activity reflected the spirit of cooperation and mutual assistance within ESA, while strengthening cross-divisional collaboration and a shared sense of responsibility.

4. CREATIVE VIDEO CHALLENGE (CVC) 

The Moments of Creative Video Challenge (CVC)

On January 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau through the Interest and Talent Division successfully held the Creative Video Challenge (CVC) 2026 under the theme “Shoot Creativity, Share Brilliance.” This program was designed to provide a platform for students to express their creativity and talents through video content.

The competition was open to active students of the English Language Education Program from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts. The registration period took place from December 18th, 2025, to January 1st, 2026, followed by the video collection phase from January 2nd to January 25th, 2026. Each class was required to submit a minimum of two video contents, with each video having a duration of 1 to 3 minutes. The winners of CVC 2026 were Nadhira Maulidia Zulfi as The Most Talented, Muhammad Varrel as The Most Favorite, and Muhammad Rizky Pramana as The Most Creative. Through this program, ESA encouraged students to explore their potential, boost confidence, and share their brilliance through creative digital media.

5. MONITORING INTERNAL

The Moments of Monitoring Internal

On Friday, January 30th, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau conducted an Internal Monitoring activity organized by the Membership Development Division in collaboration with the Social and Politics Division. The activity took place in D6 classroom at 11:50 AM.

This activity aimed to identify and understand the internal condition of the Social and Politics Division, as well as to serve as an evaluation process. Through this monitoring, the Membership Development Division sought to provide the necessary support and assistance to strengthen the division’s sustainability and foster its future development within the organization.

6. FAMILY GATHERING 1 

The Moments of Family Gathering 1

On Saturday, January 31st, 2026, ESA FKIP Universitas Riau held Family Gathering 1 organized by the Membership Development Division at the FKIP Football Field, Universitas Riau. Carrying the theme “Forming a Family to Achieve Solidarity,” this event began at 08:00 AM. and continued until finished.

This activity aimed to strengthen togetherness, build solidarity, and create warm and meaningful memories among ESA members. Through various interactive moments and shared experiences, Family Gathering 1 fostered a sense of family spirit and reinforced strong bonds within the ESA community.
